avatastic + mail forwarding = go!

its been a long time in development planning the back of my mind, but the work has finally been done, and the experiments have been run on the people who are still alive to get mail forwarding up and running.
what this means is, when i get round to writing the front-end, avatastic users will be able to pick an alias, which will then be used to forward mail to the e-mail address they registered with.

the dry technical details of how it works are, as always, a trade secret.

Its been a while since I last went on a code frenzy but my latest and greatest is nearing completion. All that remains to do is web based signups and e-mail address confirmation/validation, which should take no time at all to do and then bug fixings as and when they occur.

I don’t consider the site failing to render as expected in IE as a bug!

So what actually is Avatastic? Well put simply its a photo dump site for avatar sized images with the added bonus that you can specify ‘random’ as your desired image and you’ll pull a random image from your collection.

Why? Because I can and have been meaning to do something like this for a while now.
How? That’s a trade secret.

This entire project has been written from scratch in PHP and makes no use of other code. Any similarities between the function and code base of this project and your own are entirely coincidental.
